More Beatings for Baltar

I love, love, love, Battlestar Galactica.  Now I was already a big SciFi fan, and so unlike many people, I was not shocked that a science fiction t.v. show could tackle successfully some very difficult subjects.  I just like BSG because it is good, yes better than many SciFi shows, (damn you Flash Gordon and Bionic Woman), but not world altering as it seems to be to some.  See Battlestar Galactica: The Phenomena to understand

My Sweet Thomas and I talked about this, and I think BSG gets more credit  because it's dark and gritty and no one is wearing costumes and there are not a bunch of aliens looking silly.  When you watch BSG you don't have to apologize for being a geek.  Now why that same thing wasn't true for Firefly I don't know.  I think the idiot suits at FOX couldn't get over the fact there were horses. DBags!

All that being said, I am very excited for the final season of BSG, we have waited long enough for it.  My Sweet Thomas and I missed most of last season since they moved it to 10pm Sunday and we didn't have a tivo yet.  And why oh why was the SciFi channel not rerunning the hell out of that show!

Speaking of.... what the hell  is up with the SciFi Channel, why does it suck!  Ghosthunters!  Why the frak is that on, why are they not rerunning Blakes 7, Space 1999, old Dr Whos, the Prisoner, etc...  They should have a Friday night Drive in double feature and run Classic SciFi movies. You could run the movies twice one run straight, then after run it again but with commentary, sometimes funny ala MST3K or serious and or educational, like something on  the DVD.  SciFi cahnnel needs a talk show interviewing authors and scientists.  The people at the SciFi channel need to visit some SciFi conventions, and no not just ComicCon, some of the smaller fan driven cons, I mean we are supposedly their audience.

Back to BSG,  Baltar needs to  get beaten to death.  Sorry he has to pay, he can get redeemed so long as it is in death... after a beating... preferably with sharp pointy sticks and red hot pokers.  The whiny, sniveling little git has to pay! I hate him!   Apollo should also die, his can be noble death that saves the fleet, blah blah blah, and it doesn't have to hurt, but he should die.

How long has Tigh been a Cylon?  Was he switched out in prison on new Caprica? Everyone else in the four I could buy as a Cylon, although shouldn't the Cylons be more interested in Cheif Tyrol's kid, it is a hybrid afterall?

I think Dualla is the Final Cylon. She was the "voice" of the fleet telling everyone what to do, shes not in the "last supper" poster. Ronald Moore said the last cylon wasn't in that shot. Her intials are A.D.  Okay I'm just grasping at straws, but I want the last Cylon to be a woman, you know girl power and all that.
